Nursery

Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers on Sundays throughout the year from 8:30 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. Located on the second floor of the parish hall, the Nursery offers a quiet and attractive setting for our youngest members to play, nap, and get to know each other in a supervised setting.

The Church of Christ in Every Age

This Lenten Devotional book, written by Father Albert, will take you through the forty days of Lent examining two formational events for each of the twenty centuries of church history. There are meditations, quotations, and a prayer (from Lesser Feasts and Fasts) to provide spiritual focus for each day in Lent. This book is available by clicking HERE to view on your screen, or to download as a pdf, or, you may pick up a hardcopy at church.

Sunday School

"To such as these belongs the kingdom of heaven."
~ Matthew 19:14

First Term:  September 20 – December 20, 2009

Second Term:  January 10 – May 23, 2010

The goal of St. John’s program for its children is to involve them and nurture them in worship, capturing the interest and using the gifts of each individual child and teen. Offerings in addition to Sunday group instruction include participation as acolytes and lectors in our worship services, work with clergy to create special liturgical offerings for holidays, and participation with parents and other adult parishioners in outreach projects which are a strong commitment at St. John’s. Children enjoy music in most aspects of the program, particularly in their Sunday class groups and on special occasions when they perform as a choir during worship. Our children are central to all the activities of St. John’s; we know they embody the future of the church. Download our brochure "Our Children in the Pew"
